YOU ARE ALIVE IN A NAKED ONENESS WITH GOD

The religious often have the hardest time accepting the truth. Insulated from truth by the form of godliness, they make a life rejecting the reality that is Christ. They can live in the past or live in self-generated fictions that insulate them from the naked oneness with Christ that could be theirs – if they lived in the incarnation instead of the layers of separation from God that are the sediments of religion.

Living in religion and living Christ our life is the difference between death and life, Adam and Jesus, Moses and the trinity. Peter missed the point when he suggested building a temple for Jesus, Elijah and Moses. The temple in which God would dwell from now on would be Peter, all the Peters and those insightful enough to live in the reality of Christ our life.

Yet some are able to rise to new life and another rebirth as a result of a calamity. The pure in heart will eventually see God.

CARDINALL PELL

A catholic speaking to the issue of his faith in the light of the cardinal Pell verdict opined that the people needed to start being the church and living from their own relationship with the living Christ.

‘We don’t need all that superstructure,’ he said. He’s right. We do need Jesus and we do need each other. But the template of institutionalism in the catholic and protestant sectors of the church is not mandated by God. The incarnation is mandated by God. Christ in you and with you is the reality of the post cross age. Jesus becoming you, Christ becoming us is simple and comprehensive. People incarnated with Christ are the dwelling place of God. This is the church Jesus builds without human hands.

If Christ Himself is not our life as Paul urged then other things will be our death – things that are lifeless, spirit numbing and motions that are ultimately degrading.

TRUE SELF/FALSE SELF

We can live in the entire truth or five eighths of it. That which is our truth is that which is us – are we sons in fullness or are we a shadow of our personal real self?

The true self is birthed from the true God, the real Jesus, the genuine gospel and Christ our life.

Jesus warned us that there would be hazards in the post cross age. Like tares (children of the father of lies) and false christs (corporately manufactured Jesus’s. These are Christs constructed from the imagination of the Adamic self, from the teachings of false prophets or christs subordinated to the law. Notionally we all belong to the Body of Christ. This is our inheritance. Whether we are part of the Body in spirit and in truth depends on our Christ – whether we are attached to the Christ of God or a christ or our own invention.

The life of God is ours as a state of being. The Word is alive and the person of Jesus Christ. Life is not found in ticking boxes, shouting moralisms or citing proof texts. Life is ours in union with God. We can embrace the inheritance we already have or we can continue on as dead men talking.

SIMPLE AND COMPREHENSIVE

Eternal life is knowing God and Jesus Christ whom God sent. Eternal life starts for us when we begin to know our real self om union with Jesus. This is the self who is revealed in the revelation of Jesus enlarging within us.

This light shines on us from the time of our birth. But it shines brightly as the light of the world and the light of you IN US when we are reborn from religion int0 Christ our life. New birth has nothing to do with the law or a moral agenda. The new birth that Jesus introduced to Nicodemus and the world in the pages of John is simply Christ’s life as yours – in every way.

We need to know this. If we are living from law/religion we have not been born again.

Infinite life begins when we receive Christ to be ourselves because this kind of fullness – our inheritance and the treasure in the field – increases in splendour once we are born again. We die to live.

We die to our Adamic self which is our false self The religious have the hardest time accepting the truth because they have lived from the lie that their religion is their life.

Insulated from truth by their own ideas, they don’t live in it and they make a life rejecting reality. They live in the past or live in self-generated fictions that have become part of them. Yet some are able to rise to new life and another rebirth as a result of a calamity. The pure in heart will always see God.

TRUE SELF/FALSE SELF

We can live in the entire truth or five eighths of it. That which is our truth is that which is us – are we sons in fullness or are we a shadow of our real self?

The true self is synonymous with the true God, the real Jesus, the genuine gospel and Christ our life. Jesus warned us that there would be hazards in the post cross age. Like tares (children of the father of lies) and false christs. These are Christs constructed from the imagination of the Adamic self, from the teachings of false prophets or christs whose oneness with God has been replaced with the notion of a false christ subordinated to the law. Notionally we all belong to the Body of Christ. This is our inheritance. Whether we are part of the Body in spirit and in truth depends on our Christ – whether we are attached to the Christ of God or a christ or our own invention.

Infinite life begins when we receive Christ as ourselves because this kind of fullness – our inheritance and the treasure in the field – increases in splendour once we are born again. We die to live. We die to our Adamic self which is our false self when we choose Jesus as our life. It’s a good deal. We are already dead in Jesus and alive in His resurrection. We have an Easter life to live every day.

“In one way or another, almost all religions say that you must die before you die, and then you will know what dying means—and what it does not mean! Your usual viewing platform is utterly inadequate to see what is real. It is largely useless to talk about the very ground of your being, your True Self, or your deepest soul until you have made real contact with these at least once. That demands dying to the old viewing platform of the mental ego and the False Self. There is just no way around that. If you do make contact, you forever know that something is there that can be talked about, relied on, and deeply trusted. You move from religion as mere belief to religion as a new kind of knowing.” (1)

DERELICT PLATFORM

Some are imprisoned on their old viewing platform in the law and the old covenant. In their christianised version of the knowledge of good and evil, along with an identity they think they have here, they are imprisoned in their false self, their ‘other gospel’ and the fictions they have built over the years to maintain this false identity.

‘In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: "'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving’ Matt 13.14 NIV. Jesus came to set the prisoners free but they refuse to be set free.

Just as Jesus Christ was the express ‘word’ of God, so you are the express word of Christ – if you are living in Him and not living in religion and the law. A son of God does not live in separation from God. Sons and daughters are one with God.

On the Mount of Transfiguration Jesus shines with Father’s incarnated presence, “Simon Peter seems to have missed this symbolism, thinking instead of erecting three shrines—one for Moses, one for Elijah, and one for Jesus. But this idea of making the Law and the Prophets equal to Christ is quickly shot down when the voice from the cloud says, “This is my beloved Son with whom I am well pleased. Listen to him!” Jesus is what God has to say. A flat reading of the Bible allows us to proof-text any idea we want, but Jesus is the Word of God.” (2)

Jesus is the word of God and you are His life, when as Paul said, ‘Christ is your life.’ It is within your power to become a living word, rather than a dead letter.
