THE LIVNG WAY - WE ARE INCLUDED

The Christ of God saves us from the split/life dualism of us, by including us in the oneness of God.
 
It is in Christ that we as human beings are included in the Communion of God and hence in the creation as sons/daughters and stewards of the Earth. But not only stewards but ministers of life in the everyday hurly-burly of living. We are ministers of life because we are alive in the Being of God who has incarnated individuals and the Church with His living presence and love.
 
Your inheritance is not a mere attachment to words. It your inclusion in the Being of God that unites you in a real way to society and creation.
 
JOINED TO GOD IN HIS PERSON
 
Thomas Torrance observes “So it became clear to the great patristic theologians that a very different, unitary approach to the doctrine of Christ was needed, one in which they understood him right from the start in his wholeness and integrity as one Person who is both God and man. It was only as they allowed Jesus Christ in his whole undivided reality to disclose himself to them as the Mediator, that they were able to formulate a doctrine of Christ which did justice to the whole frame of the Gospel within which and from which he confronted them as Lord and Saviour.” (1) This is why the Christ of God is the life-giver and manufactured christ’s are not.
 
‘This is the meaning of the scripture, ‘In him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring’ Acts 17.28 NIV.
 
DAVID A HARBINGER OF THE CHRIST
 
God was Everywhere in the Old Testament. We know this because He called the Earth His Footstool and because had dealings with non-Jews and had spoken to the wise men from the East about the advent of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem.  God made Himself known to Israel in Mighty Acts, in the temple liturgy and through prophets and kings. King David had an intimate relationship with God out with the sheep and in the Tabernacle of worship he erected on the return of the ark. David was a shadow or things to come. But even he did not live in the communion with God that is available to everyone who agrees with Christ that He is in them and with them. In the post cross age you are woven into God and God is woven into you.
 
GLORY
 
 Jesus declares our glory with the words, ‘I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he" Luke 7.28 NIV. None before the cross and Pentecost were incarnated with the fullness of God.
 
THE FULLNESS GROWS

 
Father was revealed fully in the person of Jesus Christ. Not until Emmanuel came among human beings; not until the cross, the atonement and the incarnation did the fullness of God become present in ordinary people in similar manner to the fullness of God that had dwelt bodily in Jesus Christ. In the person of Jesus, the individual and the church is enfolded in the triune God, so that transfuses our being and we become holy because God is holy. We are designated as holy because Christ is our life.
 
It's a fact that Jesus is both God and man and that you are joined to God and that God is joined to you. You are included in a state of being that is God. Jesus invites you to participate in what is already yours – inclusion in the companionship of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God loves you.
 
The way of the world is exclusion. We hear this from the mouths of politicians and religious ideologues. The Living Way of Love and life is inclusion – we are included in the person of Christ. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. But always love and life.
