The law leads to Christ but Christ does not lead to the law. The Law led to Christ so that the law would be replaced by the person of Jesus expressed as us. John called this Christ come in our flesh and Paul called it Christ our life. Any gospel that begins with Christ and ends with the law is not Christ’s Gospel.

The incarnation means that Christ is our life and that we as persons and as the church are the manifestation of Christ. The incarnation – the trinity in us – is the foundational fact of the new testament age and the ground of our life in the Spirit. The Plan is that the church of Jesus Christ becomes the manifestation of the trinity – the sons and daughters of God.


It’s possible that the truth that we don’t live from a Christian version of the knowledge of good and evil in order to have a relationship with God may be deemed a heresy by many Believers. A culture has developed, careers have been made in try harder religion and separationist religion. Separationism: is the illusion that we are separated from God and must do the stuff to achieve union with God. It is an illusion because we already have this union. Everyone does.


A most subtle deception is that rather than Christ come in our flesh, we have come in our flesh and it is we who carry the responsibility of being worthy of Christ and His offered salvation. Such a practice might be called Christ by the flesh.

‘Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist’ 2 JOHN 1.7 NIV.

This illusion is the essence of religion and the most basic manifestation of the Jezebel Spirit. The end of the marketing of religion was prophesied when Jesus threw the money-changers out of the temple. Religion was put to death when Jesus cried ‘It is finished!’ and gave up His life so that His life would become our life. The kingdom of heaven came in spirit and in truth when Jesus stepped out of the tomb. Christ’s life became our life in fact when Holy Spirit descended at Pentecost. Life in the Spirit is Christ our life. Life in the law is a continuation of the lie.


Jesus is not here by the Spirit to promote the law or religious abstractions. He is in us to multiply Himself in you and in us all. This is the pure gospel of the Kingdom. It is the new creation Kingdom of God.

The mission of the of the Christian minister to the non-believer is to assure them that they belong and to invite them to agree to their ‘belonging.’

The task of the competent minister to the church is to draw Believers into the new covenant; to persuade them to situate themselves in their ALREADY ACHIEVED ‘BELONGING’ and to lead them to flourish in the incarnation – to flourish as themselves as the expression of the trinity and in the dynamic creativity of themselves as the sons and daughters of God.


‘Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent’ John 17.3 NIV. ‘Knowing God’ can never be knowing our own tetchy gospel and our own malformed Jesus. Fullness of life today is knowing God as He is.

To know as in ‘revelation’ we must know the God who is God, the God who is I am; the Jesus who is the Christ of God and the genuine son of man. This is why eternal life in the present is to know God and Jesus Christ whom God has sent.

One can live in a poverty gospel. To live in the generosity of Christ our life we must be living in the Christ who is a member of the trinity. Never in the christ who is our own invention. And certainly not the christ who is the distorted construction of a misguided church culture or an ‘other gospel.’ To possess the mind of Christ a first step is to possess the Christ of God – the Christ of our Father and the Christ who is one with Holy Spirit. Our eternal life does not depends on an accurate ticking of every sound-doctrine. But a joyful and peaceful life with Him comes from a real Christ and a true Gospel.


Jesus came to reveal God as He is and to reveal us as we are in God. He has never relented from this task. Anyone who desires the truth with a pure heart will see God as God is and know the Gospel as it is meant to be proclaimed. But don’t expect to emerge from confusion if your life-work is to pump up your own gospel, your own christ and your own identity in some structure of your own.

As it was in the beginning, so it is today, the Enemy has striven to veil the Christ and veil the gospel.

“Herein lies the paradox of the incarnation and the very meaning of reconciliation. The incarnation of the Son of God means nothing short of the incarnation of the communion of the Father, Son, and Spirit, and it means the incarnation of the Trinitarian fellowship precisely in the mythological world where our communion has been shattered with impossibility.” (1) This is about Father, Son and Holy Spirit living in our being to share the reality of their nature into our ‘knowing.’ Kruger is saying that the ‘knowing’ of each person of the trinity of each other becomes our knowing because they are in us and with us.
