ALL LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST

Some Christians do not have a Christ-life. They have an ideology.
Jesus asserted that eternal life is knowing God and Jesus Christ whom God has sent. Knowing God is thus person to person since God is deeply personal and we as daughters and sons are too. In this life where the knowledge of God has been diminished, even since the cross, the effort to know God as God is – is fundamentally worthwhile. It results in the shedding of subtle idolatries regarding God and the liberation of the self from myths and lies sown by the Enemy and fostered by marketers of religion. Only in Christ are veils removed. Removed in Christ because He is the Son of God, the Revealer of God and the one Mirror of who we are as Persons and as sons.
GOD IS TRINITY AND GOD IS LOVE
God is never an abstraction and never subsumed or subordinated to anything like the law. As the un-diluted One, God is the I AM revealed in Christ and the Definer of who we are as sons and daughters of God.
Bruce Ritchie observes that, Torrance argued that, “Knowing God in a scientific manner involves knowing God in a way consistent with his nature; but God’s nature is such that knowledge of him depends necessarily upon God’s voluntary self-revelation.
Moreover, since God is himself [a] personal being, then any knowledge which he does give of himself will be within a relationship of person to person. Furthermore, because he is God and Lord, then this person-to-person relationship must also—and again, necessarily—involve worship and prayer. Hence, it is only within that context that truly .. objective, theological enquiry can take place. Therefore, prayer is not an adornment to academic theology. Instead, prayer is an epistemologically necessary component.” (1)

We are not at liberty to make stuff up about God, divest Him of His true self or make Him subordinate to an entity like the law or the institutionalism of religion. To legalise Christ is to turn God into an abstraction, make our religion abstract and turn ourselves into paragons of religiosity, when we could have been sons of God.
