When we live in life itself and we are that life because Christ is our life – we are attuned to those who are alive and who speak spirit and life when they share themselves. We are attuned to the treasure they are sharing because being life resonate with the life of others when it flows. You can tell there are those who do not get it because their response is some superficiality. They got the container and missed the contents. In religion, particularly that of the law-based kind, we are separated from God and separated from ourselves. As a result we are unable to perceive the authentic self in others.

Christ our life is about identity, about persons and about the exquisite subtlety of life itself. We are one with this life when we agree that Christ is our life.

What we believe has a huge effect on what we are and our sensitivity to life. This is why people like Joseph Prince write books entitled, ‘The Power of Right Believing’ and why apostolic teachers since the time of Jesus have taught and written on the real Jesus, the real gospel and what it means to drink of the pure and unpolluted water of life.

The first false narrative to be undone by the Church Fathers was the un-gospel of Arianism. The result of this was the crystallisation of the divinity of Christ in the Nicaean Creed (321). Arianism in claiming that Jesus Christ was not fully God would have denuded Christianity of content and suffocated the Kingdom of God.

Legalism of any kind robs believers of potency of the kind Jesus called spirit and life.

Legalism is a false stance and a deluded perspective that has always been with us. Paul fought to dispel it saying, ‘Why don’t you go the whole may and emasculate yourselves.’ He put this well, as legalistic gospels rob Believers of potency, leaving them with religion minus divine substance. Paul added in Galatians that to retain oneself in the law is to make Christ reduncant


It is why many of the Church Father’s expended much effort countering distortions of the gospel and why we need to pay attention today to apostolic leaders who reveal the Christ, uphold Father as He is and remove the veils that obscure who we are in Jesus.

‘I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist’ 2 John 1.7 NIV.

This scripture is targeted at revisionist gospels - at the extension of the law into the new testament age and the denial of the power of the incarnation as life in the Spirit of Jesus. This is a far more subtle spirit of anti-christ than a bunch of spirits who peep and mutter.


It is simply not true that we can have any kind of gospel or any version of Jesus and live in His fullness. By living in false christs and varieties of Jesus patched together by false doctrines and distorted impressions we become distorted ourselves. We can get to be a false self because we have attached to a false christ and a false gospel. It is ‘this gospel of the Kingdom,’ - the one preached by Jesus, Paul and John that advances Jesus’ Kingdom on earth today and prepares the way for His Second Coming.


We are not our real selves when we eat junk food. But we are sons of God in spirit and in truth when we eat the Christ of God.

Jesus said, ‘Those who eat me will live because of Me.’ This is to say that by eating Jesus – the Christ of God * - we live life to the full and participate in the unlimited life that is Jesus as a son of God and Son of Man.

The gospel of His Kingdom is articulated in the new testament – but the gospel itself, the truth of the fact that JESUS IS OUR LIFE enters us directly by His Spirit so that we live in relation to God, not in religion but in the Spirit of Sonship. Because of the incarnation God’s life becomes us and our identity as daughters and sons is real and manifest in daily life.

In the law we continue in a spit reality (dualism). In Jesus we are one with God by the One Spirit. In this union with Christ we take on His nature and we are spirit and life. How to put it. An old covenant worship leader will talk about the song and may in addition provide all kinds of information about the composer and the circumstances of its writing. These are externalities. A new covenant worship leader being one spirit with Christ is the song.

Ministers of the new covenant are alive when they speak and as a result speak words of spirit and life. The message is not separate to them. It is them. They are a living word of spirit and life.


The gospel and the Kingdom is Christ in you and more. It is the trinity manifesting in you.

“As the most devout believers of any faith tradition mature, they find themselves quietly and undramatically allowing the fruit of their lives to speak for itself more than relying on conversionist tactics. That’s truly the fruit of real conversion, when our lives (not our words) validate authentic transformation.” (1)

The lines above are not only about a moral example. Lives as validation of faith are not the effect of super-spiritual effort. They come from a position of rest - the effect of Christ’s life as yours.
