Paul urges that if we insist on living from the law, then for us, ‘Christ died for nothing’. Paul also reminds us that ‘the law is for sinners.’ *If you are in Christ you are not by definition a ‘sinner’ but a son. And if Christ is your life, you are living as God intended in your inheritance of mediated life: The incarnation which means the trinity in you.
As A. W. Tozer asserts, the trinity is not something rattling around in you or living in some compartment inside of you. The incarnated God in God’s fullness is woven into our being.
God is a spirit who has manifested in the flesh as Jesus Christ. God is also love on account of the fact that God is three yet one. Love is the relationship of the trinitarian persons to each other.
WORD IS A PERSON
God is personal. Never an abstraction. God is not defined by the law but He is revealed by Christ. Jesus Christ is the full, accurate and only expression of God. Truth is Christ come in the flesh, both as Jesus of Nazareth and as you, I and the church. The fullness of Christ is manifest as the church when the Christ so worshiped is the Christ of God as witnessed by the gospel of Christ and the apostles teaching.
ALIGNED WITH GOD VIEW OF GOD
“We all would agree that approaching a human being as if they were a desk would be an act of utter irrationality, but far too often we adopt ways of approaching God which are equally irrational by not properly thinking in accordance with God’s nature. A rational pursuit of God demands that we seek to know God as God, and accordingly, we must adopt a mind appropriate to divine revelation. We are required to repent of an irrational way of thinking, and to embrace a rational form of knowledge in accordance with God’s self-disclosure.”(1)
It's not ok to invent your own gospel and your own christ. Nominally this allows you to be part of the Body but a part that is a disease rather than an organ of life.
You are not a desk because God is not an object, a package or an ideology. The I AM of God is seen in the I AM of the Christ of God. You become who you are when Christ is your life. The church becomes who it is reborn to be when its Christ is the Christ of God and when Christ is manifest in the flesh of the Believers.
* To live from the law means to live in Adamic separation from God (when we are not in fact separated). Such is the futility of ‘Other Gospels.’ (1) Morrison, Stephen D.. T. F. Torrance in Plain English (Plain English Series Book 2) (pp. 33-34). Beloved Publishing, LLC. Kindle Edition.
