CHRIST YOUR LIFE

YOUR UNDILUTED LIFE

There’s a reason why the mystery of iniquity seeks to dilute Christ’s Gospel of the Kingdom of the included. The undiluted Gospel undoes his plan to make separation from God and the theft of belonging a way of life.

CO-LABOURERS WITH CHRIST – OR NOT

We ally ourselves with the
anti-christ plan when we refuse ‘Christ come in our flesh’ and we dilute ourselves when we adopt any form of religion that is not direct participation in the person of Jesus Christ. Thus, Jesus declares the oneness He has given us with the words, ‘On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you’ John 14.20 NIV. This is the day we are reborn from religion into oneness with God.

THE KINGDOM OR THE HUSK?

This is the Treasure in the Field and the Treasure in you and as you. In Christ we are enfolded in God, enfolded by the Son of God/Son of Man into the Holy Family. ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them’ John 14.23 NIV.

EATING JESUS

The mysterious revelation of the incarnation is that by the One Spirit, Jesus Christ becomes part of you and you become part of Him and of the Holy Family. Paul calls this Christ our life. Christians know it as living in the Spirit and we celebrate and remind ourselves of it at the Lord’s Table. Jesus advertised this when He said, ‘Those who eat Me will live because of Me.’ We eat Jesus by living incarnated, which is resting in the reality of His indwelling and allowing Him to be us.

IN REAL TIME AND IN THE SPIRIT

The human life of Jesus on earth is the concrete embodiment of the revelation and reconciliation of God, the actual place on earth and in history, the one man, where God and man meet. In this man, this new man, God the Creator and Father, God the Judge and Saviour, is face to face with man. In this new man, mankind is placed, whether they will or no, face to face with the saving majesty and power of the living God.” (1)

We are one with God on account of Christ’s historical action and one with God in the Spirit because the atonement has made us one with God, having taken away the wall of separation and replaced it with the kind of oneness the trinity enjoy with each other. Our union with God is an interwovenness of our spirit with God’s Spirit realised as us in everyday life.

LOVE IS IN YOU

Human beings are created in the “image of God.” Since God is a fellowship of three divine persons who enjoy an eternal relationship of love, God created human beings to live in relationships of love.” Thus, we are enfolded in the trinity in similar fashion to the relationship of the three persons to each other. We are one with God in Christ, yet entirely ourselves on account of it: Perichoresis – not gods, but sons and daughters of God who participate in the divine nature.

By realising that we are in Jesus and He is in us we live Kingdom rather than live religion. The former has agency. The latter does not, simply because when Christ is our life, we are alive in our spirit.
