ENLARGED IN. GRACE
“Grace means that God gives Himself to us as God, freely and unconditionally, to be worshiped and adored. But grace also means that God comes to us in Jesus Christ as man, to do for us and in us what we cannot do.” - J. B. Torrance.
NEW CREATION LIFE
I wonder how many Believers realise that the healing of us includes the healing of the earth – and that the idea of the Kingdom of God minus new creation is a nonsense.
The result of the cross is the incarnation of God into ourselves, the church and the world. This incarnation – the yeast of infinite life and the treasure in the field is the foundation of the expanding life of God in our being and our world. This is the soil out of which grows life in the Spirit without limit. We do not need to plead with God to give us more of Himself. He has already given us all of who He is and He lives in you.
A PRESENT INHERITANCE
It is this union with God that is already ours that we can rest in and protect from other gospels and pseudo notions of living in glory. Christ in you is our hope and present reality of glory – oneness with God that we are to live and rest in so that we are actual fruit on the Tree of Life. Thus when Paul speaks of Christ your life, he means Christ expressed as you. This is the essence of the Kingdom and the routing of all the powers of hell.
INCARNATED WITH FULLNESS
Due to the incarnation God is in us. The purpose of this is that through you God is mediated to the world. This called ‘bearing much fruit.’
‘Worshipers’ worship in spirit and in truth. Spirit and truth is to be incarnated with the triune God. Christ is our life because Christ is this life.
God is not a generality or just a numinous. He is personal. In Christ, in the Spirit and in Father you as a person can have a personal relationship with the God of the universe and the one who love the earth.
As a result of the cross Christ lives in you. The result of the new covenant is union with God – meaning that you and Father are one. Jesus Christ was one with His Father. This was the source of His spiritual life and the reason for the success of His mission – in doing all that Father had set for Him to do. This was to reveal Father as He is. Christ our life reveals ourselves as we are becoming in Him.
‘On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you’ John 14.20 NIV. This is the day we become sons instead of workers. The day we are born again. It’s the day we begin to be leaven in the lump.
YOUR RELATIONSHIP IS IN CHRIST
“Our ability to seek God, to have faith, to repent, or even to love God in and of our self has no leg to stand on. It is only by taking part in Christ’s vicarious relationship with His Father in the Spirit that we take part in fellowship with God. The foundation of our relationship with God is not built upon on us, or upon our abilities, or even upon our beliefs. Our relationship is built upon Jesus Christ’s eternal relationship with His Father in the Spirit. As Paul writes in Galatians 2:20, we have no life of our own, but instead we take part in Christ's life. “Yet not I, but Christ." (1)
This is the ground of our being and the soil of the Spirit of Sonship. It’s not a matter of ‘keeping close to Jesus.’ He’s already in you and with you. It is a matter of living in this truth and repenting of cherished fables that originated in hell. Paradoxically our work is to rest in God – meaning resting in the fellowship and indwelling of the trinity. All you have to do is ‘be.’ Which is being who you are in God. You were made to live in God and now you do.
