HOPE FOR A BETTER NOW
“Upon Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan, the scriptures record this pronouncement from heaven: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.” This is who Jesus is. We could list more about what Jesus has done—that He is a teacher because He taught, or that He is a miracle worker because He worked miracles, but that would be only to focus on what Jesus did rather than who Jesus is. Who Jesus is, is the Son of the Father.” (1)
This is the hub of salvation and the reason that hope for a better world now and in the new earth is a reality and not a myth. The issue of salvation is not the law, the keeping of it and victory over sin. What counts for you is His Victory. The issue is the veracity of His Fatherhood and the certainty of your sonship.
That Jesus and Father are one must be seen in the light of the reality – that we are one with the trinity and that their being is in us and with us: Incarnated into is as called the Kingdom of God.
The consequence of this is that - we in Jesus who is a man and fully God - are included in the Holy Family – the hub of all life and the origin and engine of the sonship and daughtership of the human race.
Christ come in our flesh is Christ come in the human race. In living this reality we are guaranteed to manifest the Kingdom of God rather than the aberrations of Christianity that help in bringing perverse leaders to power. Political Christianity is not Kingdom Christianity but a particularly noxious version of tares with a form of godliness but denying the nature thereof.
If Christianity in its Kingdom form is not about folly, it is about wisdom and being filled with the Holy Spirit. If it is about achieving ends through manipulation and control it is not about Christ. If it is not Christ come in the flesh, which is to say manifesting as us, it is about the spirit of anti-christ.
