There is only one Gospel of the Kingdom as Jesus and Paul declared. Any other gospel even if it comes from an angel or a prophet will rob us of life and do it in the name of god. But its source is the anti-christ even if it is a view accepted by nice people and your friends. There are false christs with false gospels that lead to a diminished ‘us’ and the multiplication of sophisticated iniquity – to religion that dulls, robs and leeches out spirit and life. Francois Du Toit of the Message Bible writes,
“There is only one valid faith, not what we believe about God or about ourselves, but what God believes about us! If you want to see God's face, see his faith.
Jesus is God's Statement of Faith!”
God’s belief about you is the belief that you belong; that you are a son/daughter in Jesus Christ; that Jesus vicariously is you in respect of your relationship with God.
We are free to manifest Jesus according to our unique sonship. Never free to possess such a divergent set of beliefs that are no gospel at all. Jesus depicted the wheat as the sons of God and the tares as those who have been misled by the father of lies.
With Christ as our life we are alive in our spirit and equipped with ears that lock-on to truth and eyes that separate religion from spirit and life.
“Those who embrace Him, who believe in His name, find His Light, His I AM setting them free to become their true selves, free to live as children of God in the darkness, discovering their origin beyond their earthly parents in the Word in God. And so the Word became flesh and entered the darkness in person, and found His way within us. And we perceived His true identity, His glory as the only begotten out of the Father, an overflowing fountain of grace and truth. This” ― C. Baxter Kruger, Patmos: Three Days, Two Men, One Extraordinary Conversation.
Life in the Spirit is the effect of our possessed union with God. In this union we are imbued with the essence of life and spirit. This is not the an attitude of sincerity or attention to the externalities of Christian well-doing. There’s nothing external about it. It’s your participation in God and God’s interwoveness in you. This is you as a life-giving spirit instead of you as a sincere labourer in Moses. You are in Christ and you and our Father are one.
If we are attempting to live in attachment to the law to religion and from the knowledge of good and evil – we will usually be unaware that we are living in externalities instead of from life itself. People who genuinely live in a new covenant life in the Spirit often find that pieces they write for those who don’t can be re-edited and dumbed-down to the level of ‘the letter.’ They don’t know what to make of them and in attempting to interpret them they make them what they are not: pseudo legal strictures and formulae. No matter how sincere we are the letter always kills. It’s the new covenant union with God that draws us into the spirit. Not the gifts, the anointing or visions and words of prophecy. The latter are legitimate and worthy of deployment. But unless we use them from a new covenant interwoveness with God, they will fade or lead to confusion.
