CHRIST YOUR LIFE

His life as your life

A TOTAL AT-ONE-MENT

The radical significance of Christ's substitutionary Priesthood does not lie in the fact that His perfect Self-offering perfects and completes our imperfect offerings, but that these are displaced by His completed Self-offering. We can only offer what has already been offered on our behalf, and offer it by the only mode appropriate to such a substitutionary offering, by prayer, thanksgiving, and praise.” ― T.F. Torrance.

BELONGING

Christ is our life because Christ is our life. In Christ we are one with Father and Holy Spirt. The fall is undone. Our Adam is dead and our Christ is our new man/woman. To live in the Resurrection of Jesus is to live in the new creation Kingdom of God. This grace is the foundation of the new you, the church Jesus builds without hands and the manifestation of the Believer as Christ multiplied.

WHY INIQUITY IS INIQUITOUS

Sin is the fruit of a lie, the result of a false narrative about Father and about us. When the word ‘iniquity’ is used it refers to the innate perversion, decay and decease that is the law of sin and death. The knowledge of good and evil is the result of the separation that is death, the lie of rationalising death as a new form of life and the attempt to be as gods by acting as the arbiter of good and evil.

It is for this reason that we should shun all forms of Christianity that are a prolonging of the fall as a disguised version of the tree that kills. Law based religion is all of this. Stephen Morrison writes,

Sin leads to death. Sin is death. This is clear in the book of Romans. This is fact often thought of in legal terms, where sin gets punished by death, but let’s stay away from such strict legal thought. Sin’s wage is death because sin can do nothing but decay, corrupt, and kill. Sin always ends in death because by nature sin is non-existence acting upon existence. When sin takes hold of that which is existence, sin destroys said existence like a cancer.” (1)

Just as there are false facts there is
false life. The most subtle sin is a state of being which we justify as the life of God when it is really another gospel based on the letter that kills. Better to be a genuine community in the Body of Christ than a cancer within the Body.
