His life as your life

You have a life in God that transcends definitions, prohibitions and observances. This life in God is you. It’s you in God as an expression of God. You as a daughter or a son and as a result of that, us as agents of the new creation kingdom of God.

This life is real because God in His Son entered our life as Jesus Christ to take on us and to become us. Thus was put in place the vicarious humanity of Jesus - which means that Jesus is you and as your living gift of life. The is the ultimate meaning of grace.

Jesus did not impart Himself to a new model of the knowledge of good and evil. He did not diffuse Himself into religion and He extinguished the law and associated rites and replaced it with the incarnation. This is the soil and ground of life in the Spirit as well as the gifts.

The result of incarnation is you as the manifestation of God – commonly called daughters and sons.

Christ our life is us in Sabbath relationship with God in peace, rest and creativity in a closer union than our pre-fall Sabbath relationship. Since the cross you and Father are one in Jesus. More than this you are one in fellowship with the trinity so that the Holy Family is always with you and in you. You have inherited a Sabbath life.

Jesus is indeed Lord of the Sabbath because to agree that He is our life is to enter His fellowship and authority over our hearts and our being. Your glory is to be entered today. Your glory is living in your real identity each day to be the fruit you were planted to be in Father’s garden.

There is a peace and rest in Christ that is not available in the law or any fraction of it. It’s unlikely that anyone tied to a Sabbath day will experience a Sabbath life. It’s a contradiction. Tied to a Sabbath day we will suffocate the infinity of a Sabbath life because we are captured in the law, its separation, fractions and dichotomies and smallness. There is no life in the law or any aspect of it. You have access to the spirit of life that is Christ in you in entirety and perpetuity.

‘Jesus said to them, "Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you’ John 6.53 NIV.

There are key rites in the new testament age. They have no power in themselves and are not magic. They are signs and reminders of the inheritance that is ours and the reality in which we live. One is baptism with denotes our death to Adam and our resurrection to our Christ life. The other is the Lord’s Table which denotes His becoming our soul, body and spirit because our life is the effect of His life as us. Jesus didn’t leave us religion. Our inheritance is the expression of the trinity in our being. This is life in the Spirit and the Kingdom of God.

To retain ourselves in any fragment of the law is to insulate ourselves from life.

‘On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you’ John 14.20 NIV. Realizing this we are born again. Living in this we move from religion to the Kingdom of God as sons, priests and kings.
