His life as your life

The Gospel of the Kingdom – the one that Jesus began - that Paul explained and John celebrated is much different to the gospel of men and degenerate gospels grazing like skinny cows in the mindsets of Christian Disability. There is an inherent meanness in law constricted gospels and much humbug in religious ones. In Christ our life – which is the vicarious humanity of Jesus embedded in our living – we can make the Kingdom what it us meant to be: The expression of the trinity in us, in the church and in society.

The Kingdom of God was never the knowledge of good and evil with a ‘Jesus Face’. The Kingdom Jesus began is the life inherent in the trinity with your face. Christ’s light and His Gospel is infinitely superior to gospels shrunken by the law or notions of original sin. His Gospel is life without limit because it began in the womb of unlimited life and was certified by the resurrected Jesus.

When our imagination is enlightened and our hope ignited by this plan and this Gospel, we can agree with God that we have already been included in His life and celebrate the adventure of
His life in us as a living sacrament of Christ our life every day.

This is not only about giving glory to God. It’s about being us to the full and entering our glory as persons and sons/daughters of God.

When Paul announced the gospel of Christ in you He was declaring the realization of the plan that had been fomented before creation – the sharing of the joy of living that the trinity enjoyed with human beings. Baxster Kruger observes,

The life that God lives as Father, Son and Spirit is not boring and sad and lonely. There is no emptiness in this circle, no depression or fear or angst.

The Trinitarian life is a life of unchained fellowship and intimacy, fired by passionate, self-giving love and mutual delight. Such love, giving rise to such togetherness and fellowship, overflows in unbounded joy, in infinite creativity and unimaginable goodness. The gospel begins here with this God and with this divine life, for there is no other.

Before time dawned and space was called to be, before the heavens were stretched out and filled with a sea of stars, before the earth was summoned and filled with people and life and endless beauty, before there was anything, there was the Father, Son and Spirit and the great dance of Trinitarian life. The amazing truth is that this Triune God, in staggering and lavish love, determined to open the circle and share the Trinitarian life with others.

This is the one, eternal and abiding reason for the existence of the universe and human life within it. There is no other God, no other will of God, no second plan
